Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong><\/a> is jabbing at Vice President Mike Pence<\/strong><\/a> over his views on the LGBTQ community, but did say he should take home an award \u2026 although this isn\u2019t one for the mantle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Oscar-winning actress stepped up to a podium at the GLAAD Media Awards to announce that country music star Orville Peck<\/strong> was this year\u2019s winner of the Vito Russo Award \u2014 but, she had to get off a few jokes first \u2026 one aimed directly at Pence\u2019s stance on conversion therapy for LGBTQ youth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Jennifer opened by telling the audience \u2014 which included Jennifer Hudson<\/strong>, Uma Thurman<\/strong> and Don Lemon<\/strong> \u2014 she \u201cloved seeing so many humans who can top their field while still power bottoming.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n She also joked that it was nice being in a room full of men without needing mace.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Then, she revealed her first love was a \u201chomosexual\u201d who, for years, she tried to convert, but it didn\u2019t work, shouting, \u201cDid you hear me Mike Pence?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n She went on to say that conversion therapy wasn\u2019t real even if Pence thought it worked on him, and then her punchline \u2014 Pence was busy picking up the \u201cKids\u2019 Choice Award for weirdest d**k.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Of course, Jennifer\u2019s joke was a double shot \u2014 one at Pence, and another at Nickelodeon \u2026 which has been scrutinized<\/strong><\/a> for sexualizing young actors with the release of the \u2018Quiet On Set\u2019 docuseries.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n As a staunch Republican, Pence is a major proponent of conversion therapy and also opposes gay marriage. Translation: he\u2019s ripe for the picking if ya need a target at any LGBTQ event.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Which is exactly what J. Law did!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n
