Mike Myers<\/strong><\/a> returned to the spotlight for a rare public appearance this weekend \u2026 but folks had to do a double take, \u2019cause nobody could recognize him with his new hair color.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The actor stepped out Saturday for the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in L.A. \u2014 where Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> was being honored \u2014 which marked his first time at a public event in about a year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mike looked unrecognizable with short white hair \u2014 but was rocking it proudly as he spoke onstage at one point \u2026 and posing for tons of pics before heading inside, all smiles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He was even taking photos with fans too \u2026 acting goofy and posing for a bunch of selfies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mike has always kept a relatively low profile \u2026 as he and his wife, Kelly Tisdale<\/strong><\/a>, are known for keeping their home life super private. So, seeing MM out and about like this is pretty remarkable \u2014 especially since he\u2019s a silver fox now, and totally leaning into it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n The last few times Mike was out in public was in April and May of 2023 \u2014 in April of that year, his was quite a bit longer \u2026 and more importantly, it was the same color of brown we\u2019ve seen him in for years now.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n <\/a>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n In May, the guy was at a basketball game \u2014 with pretty damn good seats, it seems \u2014 but there \u2026 he was wearing a beanie, covering up his \u2018do. Since then, he\u2019s been kinda MIA.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Anyway, it was clearly a big enough occasion to get Mike out of the house and into the public eye again \u2014 remember, this was all about Nicole \u2026 and anyone who\u2019s anyone showed up to give her her flowers<\/strong><\/a>, including a ton of celebs.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Among the stars in attendance \u2026 Reese Witherspoon<\/strong><\/a>, Joey King<\/strong><\/a>, Michelle Pfeiffer<\/strong><\/a>, Jane Seymour<\/strong><\/a>, Miles Teller<\/strong><\/a>, Naomi Watts<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>Morgan Freeman<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>and lots of others.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Mike certainly stood out though \u2026 and we gotta say, he\u2019s looking real sharp these days!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n![\"mike](\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/1714430242_994_Mike-Myers-Debuts-White-Hair-in-First-Public-Appearance-in-Over-a-Year.jpg\")
