Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> is a bona fide legend \u2026 just ask her, \u2019cause on her new album she stacks her resume up against the likes of 2 other icons \u2014 actress Clara Bow<\/strong> and rock goddess Stevie Nicks<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tay dropped \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department\u201d Friday, and in her song, \u201cClara Bow,\u201d she sings about being compared to the silver screen starlet and the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman. However, by the end of the song, Taylor claims her identity as a megastar \u2026 hinting she\u2019s reached legend status like the stars mentioned in the song.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She sings \u2026 \u201cYou look like Taylor Swift \/\/ In this light, we\u2019re lovin\u2019 it \/\/ You\u2019ve got edge, she never did \/\/ The future\u2019s bright, dazzling.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While there\u2019s no denying Taylor\u2019s impact on the modern music scene \u2014 her \u2018Eras\u2019 tour brought in over a billion dollars<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 it does come off a bit boastful to declare yourself a living legend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If we\u2019re going off numbers alone \u2026 Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> has 18 more Grammy wins than Taylor. So, maybe the legend label is a bit preemptive??? Then again, rappers do this sorta thing all the time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Though Stevie is clearly unbothered by Taylor suggesting she\u2019s on her level \u2014 SN actually wrote the opening prologue poem for the vinyl\/CD version of \u2018Tortured Poets.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In a handwritten note, Stevie dedicated \u2026 \u201cFor T and me\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
