Based on DC characters created by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, <em>Dead Boy Detectives<\/em> stars George Rextrew and Jayden Revri as Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The official description of <em>Dead Boy Detectives<\/em> reads: \u201cTwo teen ghosts work alongside a clairvoyant to solve mysteries for their supernatural clientele \u2014 until a powerful witch complicates their plans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/tudum\/articles\/dead-boy-detectives-cast-netflix\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><em>Tudum<\/em><\/a> by Netflix, \u201cIn <em>Season of Mists<\/em>, the fourth book of <em>The Sandman<\/em> comics series, Neil Gaiman penned a ghost story set in a British boarding school to demonstrate the problems being caused by Lucifer\u2019s plan to get back at Dream. Who amongst us can honestly say that if we were hanging around the Earth as a ghost we wouldn\u2019t want to start a detective agency? I think what fans responded to the most was their good-heartedness and dedication.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wealthofgeeks.com\/paramount-beams-aboard-steve-yockey-to-write-fourth-and-final-star-trek-movie-produced-by-j-j-abrams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Steve Yockey<\/a> and Beth Schwartz serve as showrunners of <em>Dead Boy Detectives<\/em>. \u201cIf <em>The Sandman<\/em> is this really lush, rich supernatural drama, then <em>Dead Boy Detectives<\/em> is the <em>Hardy Boys<\/em> on acid,\u201d said Yockey. \u201cHopefully just as addictive, but through a severely cracked lens.\u201d Schwartz added, \u201cThe bittersweet nature of Edwin and Charles having only become friends because of their tragic deaths is what makes their friendship such a unique story to explore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gaiman teased that the Edwin and Charles will encounter a member of the Endless, but who? \u201c[In <i>Dead Boy Detectives<\/i>,] they will encounter a member of the Endless,\u201d said Gaiman. \u201cBut which one?
