The film centers on a romance between Demetrius (Washington), a Black man, and Mina (Sarita Choudhury), an Indian woman, and the cultural clash that complicates their relationship. It\u2019s a beautiful, deeply felt romantic film that makes the most of its stars\u2019 incredible charisma and chemistry and deserves a larger audience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>2. Things are made even more ridiculous when the two accidentally trade cell phones on a taxi ride. It\u2019s a sweet and funny movie built on the star power of Clooney and Pfeiffer that\u2019s somehow been forgotten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>3. The film follows a young woman who becomes a pop sensation for writing a song to commemorate her fellow students who died in a school shooting she survived. The film plays out in two parts. The first section stars Raffey Cassidy as the teen, while the second sees Natalie Portman as the full-fledged adult pop star. To top things off, the film is narrated by <a href=\"https:\/\/wealthofgeeks.com\/the-best-willem-dafoe-movies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Willem Dafoe<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>7. It\u2019s an incredibly&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.moviemaker.com\/southland-tales-will-always-be-my-favorite-richard-kelly-on-his-divisive-donnie-darko-follow-up-casting-the-rock-and-plans-for-a-six-hour-version\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">divisive movie that\u2019s Kelly\u2019s favorite of his films<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>8. It\u2019s also one of the best films from director Joel Schumacher, who\u2019s best known for his less-than-stellar&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wealthofgeeks.com\/every-batman-movie-ranked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Batman<\/em>&nbsp;movies<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>9. It\u2019s a quiet film that explodes in its final moments with the historic murders. The star power and the new take on a famous historical story should make the film a bigger deal, but it somehow seems to have slipped through the cracks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>11. To make things even more interesting, Keanu Reeves plays a cult leader, and Jim Carrey plays a wandering scavenger. Somehow, the film isn\u2019t talked about often, but it may become a cult classic over time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>12. Some of those stars aren\u2019t just recognizable; they\u2019re big-time A-listers like&nbsp;Paul Rudd,&nbsp;Winona Ryder, and Jon Hamm.&nbsp;<em>The Ten<\/em>&nbsp;is a silly movie, and as with all anthology films, some segments are better than others. But for 2000s comedy fans, it\u2019s a bonanza of religious satire made by some of the funniest people of the era. The film\u2019s perhaps touchy subject matter and its anthology format may have kept it from making a bigger impact.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>16. However, Stiller\u2019s performance as Stahl is remarkable, showing off the actor\u2019s range, especially considering the film came out the same year as <em>There\u2019s Something About Mary<\/em>. The movie also features Elizabeth Hurley and Owen Wilson, but it\u2019s far from something someone would throw on when in the mood for \u201ca Ben Stiller movie.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>17. But director Zhang Yimou\u2019s brilliant direction and a leading performance from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/wealthofgeeks.com\/christian-bale-character-transformations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Christian Bale<\/a>&nbsp;as an American mortician living in Nanjing who masquerades as a priest and attempts to save as many children and prostitutes as possible make it a powerful film. It\u2019s a difficult but rewarding film worth seeking out, especially for fans of history, Bale, and Yimou.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>18. The film sees Reynolds play a mentally ill young man who begins to hear the eponymous voices of his pet cat and dog. The cat urges him to commit violent crimes, and the dog attempts to stop. It\u2019s an absurd movie in the best way that will hopefully find more of an audience as time goes on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>22. The film stars Streep as Lee, a woman who hasn\u2019t spoken with her ill father or sister who cares for him in 20 years but returns to her hometown with her two sons when her sister requests a lifesaving bone marrow transplant.&nbsp;<em>Marvin\u2019s Room<\/em>&nbsp;isn\u2019t revolutionary, but it\u2019s a moving drama with strong performances from the A-list cast.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>23. It\u2019s a sweet coming-of-age movie with an outstanding cast that should rank among the genre&#8217;s classics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>24.
