Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> has a snowball\u2019s chance in hell to win the presidency, because his first poll numbers suck \u2026 but he could definitely play spoiler \u2014 question is, for whom?<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Redfield & Wilton Strategies \u2014 a consulting firm that does polling and market research \u2014 released results from a poll it did last week \u2026 and when Ye\u2019s included as one of the candidates, he only clocked in at 2%. That\u2019s out of 2,000 people polled.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Granted, the other third-party candidates from the Libertarian and Green Parties aren\u2019t polling much higher than he was either \u2014 both also hit the 2% and 1% each, respectively.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Now, here\u2019s the really interesting thing \u2014 while you\u2019d think the rapper and producer getting in the race might hurt Joe Biden<\/strong><\/a> (that\u2019s how Chance the Rapper<\/strong><\/a> and others see it) \u2026 it didn\u2019t. In fact, it actually hurt Trump<\/strong><\/a>!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

According to R&WS, the sitting Prez got dinged, going from 40% to 39% when Kanye is factored into the race. Biden stays firmly in the lead in either scenario, sitting pretty at 48%.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The prevailing thought is Kanye would splinter the Democratic vote \u2014 especially young and black voters \u2014 and possibly sabotage Biden in the process.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Still, let\u2019s all chill when it comes to polls \u2026 especially this early in the campaign. Just ask Hillary Clinton<\/strong><\/a> about those 2016 numbers.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
