<\/p>\nExclusive<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s shout-out to a fan\u2019s new book \u2014 written in honor of her late daughter \u2014 is giving her a huge emotional pick-me-up, and it ain\u2019t bad for sales!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Frankie Williams<\/strong> is the author of \u201cThe Merdragon,\u201d a fictional children\u2019s book she wrote for her daughter, Shauntae<\/strong>, who passed away last year. Shauntae was only 36 and died from undiagnosed heart disease.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Frankie says, at the time, she tweeted at Shelton and his country singer friend Craig Morgan<\/strong>, because Craig had written a song about his son\u2019s tragic death. Blake was promoting the tune, \u201cThe Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost\u201d \u2026 and she found it very inspiring.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n Frankie says Blake replied, saying he was inspired by people like her and Craig who find ways to help others deal with grief while still dealing with their own \u2026 and it motivated her to write the book as a tribute to Shauntae.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Flash forward to Monday \u2014 Frankie tweeted at Shelton saying she wanted to send him a copy of \u2018Merdragon\u2019 as a token of gratitude for his kind words, and he responded again \u2026 saying he\u2019ll order it instead.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n I\u2019ll order it\u2026 Actually let\u2019s all order it!!! https:\/\/t.co\/NwAQH99JUB<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) June 9, 2020<\/a> And, the kicker \u2026 he encouraged all of his 20 million followers to order it, too!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Frankie tells us ever since Blake\u2019s tweet, her book\u2019s been selling like hotcakes. She says she doesn\u2019t have official sales numbers yet, but it\u2019s currently in the top 5 in three different children\u2019s categories on Amazon \u2026 skyrocketing up the charts from the 400-500 range it was in before Shelton\u2019s shout-out.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Williams says, obviously, he didn\u2019t have to do this for her, but she\u2019ll be forever grateful, and adds \u2026 Blake Shelton is amazing.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n
