The band that provided the magic for Joe Exotic<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s unique set of songs on \u2018Tiger King\u2019 has good news for everyone itching for more of their good musical vibes.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Vince Johnson<\/strong> of The Vince Johnson Band \u2014 who made up one half of the music duo who wrote and performed Joe\u2019s tracks featured on the Netflix series \u2014 just inked an exclusive licensing and distribution deal with BMG Rights Management and Create Music Group.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As part of the agreement, all those Joe tunes (which are actually Vince\u2019s) will be compiled onto an album for the first time and be released on streaming services everywhere in the coming months. There\u2019ll also be some new tunes, including a cut called \u2018Killer Carole.\u2019 Probably won\u2019t be a big hit in Carole Baskin<\/strong>\u2018s crib.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We got a little taste of this gem before it officially drops Friday \u2014 we\u2019re thinking you can add this one to your back road country playlist. No sign of Joe, though, in the pseudo-music video \u2014 he\u2019s a little tied up right now<\/strong><\/a>, unfortunately.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In any case, it\u2019s great news for Vince and co. \u2026 whom, as we previously told you, were gunning for a record deal of some sort in the wake of the show\u2019s massive popularity. Unclear if they\u2019ve gotten signed to a label yet, but a licensing deal is kinda like getting halfway there.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Of course, Vince lost his longtime music collaborator \u2014 Daniel Clinton<\/strong> \u2014 who helped him pen a lot of the songs on \u2018Tiger King,\u2019 after he passed away<\/strong><\/a> from a heart attack late last year. Here\u2019s hoping Vince does him proud with this streak of good luck going forward.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
