<\/p>\nBreaking News<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Stephen Jackson<\/strong><\/a> is at the forefront of the fight for justice in the killing of his friend George Floyd<\/strong> \u2026 saying he\u2019s going to do whatever it takes to make sure the officers are convicted.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The ex-NBA star revealed this week that he\u2019s known Floyd for more than 20 years \u2026 saying they even called each other \u201ctwin.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Jackson \u2014 alongside Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns<\/strong><\/a>, rappers Bun B<\/strong><\/a> and Trae The Truth<\/strong>, and actor Jamie Foxx<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 <\/strong>gave an emotional speech at a news conference in Minneapolis on Friday.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Stephen Jackson with just about the most powerful words I\u2019ve ever heard pic.twitter.com\/7guc6O4T6W<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Jon Krawczynski (@JonKrawczynski) May 29, 2020<\/a> \u201cI\u2019m here because they\u2019re not gonna demean the character of George Floyd, my twin,\u201d Jackson said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n \u201cYou can\u2019t tell me when that man had a knee on my brother\u2019s neck, taking his life away with his hand in his pocket that that smirk on his face didn\u2019t say, \u2018I\u2019m protected.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n \u201cYou can\u2019t tell me that he didn\u2019t feel that it was his duty to murder my brother and then he was gonna get away with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The officer \u2014 Derek Chauvin<\/strong> \u2014 has been arrested<\/strong><\/a> and charged with 3rd-degree murder and manslaughter \u2026 and Jackson says he will fight to make sure all officers involved get proper punishment.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Stephen Jackson says he will do everything in his power for charges and convictions for the police officers involved in #GeorgeFloyd<\/a> \u2018s death @kare11<\/a> @DaTrillStak5<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/6s48GyxRRE<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Sharon Yoo (@SharonKARE11) May 29, 2020<\/a> \u201cI\u2019mma use everything I have to get a conviction, to get all these motherf**kers in jail.
