Guiana-born rocker Eddy Grant<\/strong> moved to London and got his first taste of fame when his band The Equals released the \u201960s rock song, \u201cBaby Come Back<\/strong><\/a>\u201c\u2026 but it wasn\u2019t until Eddy moved to Barbados and started a solo career with hits like \u201cI Don\u2019t Want To Dance<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and the absolute jam \u201cElectric Avenue<\/strong><\/a>\u201d that he truly gained fame and success.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Eddy has since released a slew of albums and has was given a Lifetime Achievement Award from Guyana.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Eddy Grant most recently joined The Roots on \u2018The Tonight Show\u2019 <\/strong>stage to perform his hit single.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
