SimplyE<\/h3>\n<p>SimplyE is an app that is part of an open-reading platform <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dev-librarysimplified.pantheonsite.io\/simplye\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Library Simplified<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is a program developed by several libraries and educational institutions nationwide, with the New York Public Library leading the way.<\/p>\n<p>The SimplyE app is available on both the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/simplye\/id1046583900\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=org.nypl.simplified.simplye\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> operating systems.<\/p>\n<p>After downloading the app, log in with your library card and PIN.<\/p>\n<p>To browse, tap \u201cCatalog\u201d at the bottom of the screen and swipe to look for popular titles.<\/p>\n<p>You can also narrow your search by using the search icon, or sort by author or collection.<\/p>\n<p>When you find the title you\u2019re looking for, tap on it to download and then tap the \u201cRead\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p>And when the lending period is up, the title is automatically returned.<\/p>\n<p>But be aware the app does not work with Android devices running on the Android 5.0 operating system or older.<\/p>\n<p>And it does not work with the Kindle Fire or Kindle Paperwhite eReaders.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7_Flipster\"\/>7. BiblioBoard Library<\/h3>\n<p>BiblioBoard is an app that is a little different than the one\u2019s you\u2019ve read about so far.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t focus on the book you would normally find at the library.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, it focuses on letting readers find local content and allow local and independent authors to get their works to a larger audience.<\/p>\n<p>This can include original books and film, local music, local yearbooks, oral history projects, old town photographs, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Another added benefit is there are no holds or checkouts, everything is always available.<\/p>\n<p>You also have the ability to share with your friends what your favorite titles are.<\/p>\n<p>To get started, search to see if your library is on the list.<\/p>\n<p>If it\u2019s not, you have the option of using \u201cBiblioBoard Open Access\u201d to browse titles available to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>The app is available for <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/biblioboard-library\/id613149061\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.biblioboard\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> operating systems.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"9_RBdigital\"\/>9.
