Nope!!! So says Jerry Stackhouse<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 who reveals being Jordan\u2019s teammate actually SUCKED in 2002 \u2026 and he wished it never happened.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cHonestly, I wish I never played in Washington and for a number of reasons,\u201d Stackhouse said on \u201cThe Woj Pod<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cIt was really challenging to be able to be in a situation with an idol who at this particular point, I felt like I was a better player,\u201d Stack said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

It may sound crazy for JS to say he was ever better than the G.O.A.T. \u2026 but let\u2019s remember, MJ was NOT the real<\/em> MJ we all know and love during his Wizards days.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Jerry points out the season was off to a better start because the offense was running through him \u2026 and then MJ had to take over.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cHe wanted to get a little more isolations on the post, of course, so we had more isolations for him on the post.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

To add insult to injury \u2026 Stackhouse\u2019s old team, the Detroit Pistons, ended up winning the title 2 years after he was traded to D.C. \u2026 and the Wizards never sniffed the playoffs.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Stackhouse says he never really had much fun that season \u2026 and ended up losing respect for Jordan.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

\u201cKind of the picture I had in my mind of Michael Jordan and the reverence I had for him, I lost a little bit of it during the course of that year.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
