That means that the company makes an effort to resolve customer complaints and monitors their BBB profile for any complaints that occur. They also pay a fee to the BBB to be listed as accredited and to be checked by the organization for good business practices.

According to the BBB, TR has been open for twelve years. In that time, they have earned themselves an A+ rating due to their handling of customer complaints. Keep in mind, that this rating only applies to their complaint management and not their reviews.

127 complaints were lodged against TaskRabbit in the past three years. Of those, 62 of them were closed within the past 12 months. The majority of complaints were made by customers who didn’t agree with the bill they received or didn’t like the service they received. Very few of them seem to be made by people who worked at TR.

If you want to know more, check out what the BBB has to say about this company.

Pros and Cons

Some positive things about using TaskRabbit are:

You can set your own schedule.

You can choose what jobs you do.

You choose the hourly rate you’re paid.

Some negatives about TaskRabbit are:

You’re a contractor, not a full employee.

You have to provide your own insurance.

How much you earn can depend on how many jobs are available in your area.

So is TaskRabbit Worth It?

After reading all this, It’s clear that TaskRabbit may not be for everyone.

If you’re a skilled laborer looking to fill their schedule in between jobs or a stay-at-homer trying to pick up a little extra on the side without compromising your other responsibilities, TaskRabbit may be for you!

However, if you’re looking for a secure, full-time position with benefits, you’d best look elsewhere.
