<\/div>\n<\/section>\nThe actress who played the mother of the kid who got eaten in \u201cJaws,\u201d has passed away by a threat that\u2019s becoming more real and dangerous than a great white \u2026 COVID-19.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Lee Fierro<\/strong> \u2014 who portrayed Alex Kintner\u2019s mom, Mrs. Kintner, in the 1975 classic film \u2014 has passed away due to complications from coronavirus \u2026 according to Martha\u2019s Vineyard Times, which first reported her death. The first \u201cJaws\u201d was shot on location there in Mass.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n Fierro doesn\u2019t have very many acting credits to her name outside of the \u2018Jaws\u2019 franchise \u2014 in which she reprised her role twice \u2014 but she had an iconic few scenes in the first flick, notably her freak-out on the beach when Alex\u2019s blood and shorts wash up on the beach.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Perhaps even more iconic \u2026 her confrontation with Roy Scheider<\/strong>, who played Chief Brody, whom she slapped across the face at Alex\u2019s wake. She was pissed he let beachgoers hit the sand despite knowing there was a shark on the loose. Her son was the second-known attack, and as Chief Brody noted \u2026 she wasn\u2019t wrong for her criticism of him.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n According to the outlet, Fierro was being housed at an assisted living facility in Ohio \u2014 where her family is said to be holding a small ceremony in her honor because of social distancing restrictions.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n She was 91.
