Oklahoma-born actor Ryan Merriman<\/strong> was still a teenager when he landed the role of the \u00a0basketball-loving leprechaun, Kyle Johnson<\/strong> \u2014 who has to hunt down his lucky gold coin to restore order to his Irish family \u2014 in the 2001 Disney channel original movie, \u201cThe Luck Of The Irish.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Merriman was cast alongside other notable actors including Glenndon Chatman as the b-ball best friend, Russell Holoway \u2026 and Timothy Omundson as the leprechaun villain, Seamus McTiernan.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Ryan Merriman can more recently be spotted on TV shows like \u201cPretty Little Liars,\u201d \u201cHawaii Five-0,\u201d \u201cBallers\u201d and \u201cSmallville.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
