South Carolina-native Johnny Whitworth<\/strong> was 20 years old when he took on the role as the art school hopeful, A.J. \u2014 who takes on a gamut of situations while employed by the Delaware record store \u2014 in the 1995 cult masterpiece, \u201cEmpire Records.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Johnny Whitworth wasn\u2019t the only standout in the music movie \u2026 he was cast with other rising stars like Renee Zellweger<\/strong> as the lusty Gina, Ethan Embry<\/strong> as the marijuana loving Mark \u2026 and of course, Liv Tyler<\/strong> as A.J.\u2019s crush and Harvard bound Corey Mason.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Whitworth can be spotted more recently on TV shows like \u201cThe 100\u201d and \u201cBlindspot.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
