Now, the MySurvey and GlobalTestMarket online survey panels have become LifePoints (LP).<\/p>\n Well, it\u2019s a survey site, much like Swagbucks and Survey Junkie<\/a>. where you make money taking surveys.<\/p>\n Basically, it still allows you to make money just as you could with MySurvey.<\/p>\n Now, LifePoints is still operated by the same company, Lightspeed Research Limited<\/a>. This means that there\u2019s no change in ownership.<\/p>\n There is a new site and a new name though, so what exactly does LP have to offer?<\/p>\n Is it a legit survey site?<\/p>\n And can you make money from it?<\/p>\n Well, below, I answer those questions and more.<\/p>\n I offer a full LifePoints review that tells you everything you need to know the site.<\/p>\n Signing up for LP is totally free to do. Visit the website here<\/a> to get started.<\/p>\n It\u2019s totally free to join the site.<\/p>\n So, there\u2019s no fee like some of those scam survey sites will try to charge you.<\/p>\n Click the \u201cJoin Now\u201d button on the home page, and follow all the initial steps to register.<\/p>\n Once you\u2019ve done that, you get an activation email to confirm your membership.<\/p>\n Just click on the link, and your membership will be activated.<\/p>\n Now, you\u2019ll be able to start taking surveys.<\/p>\n The company has also added an app for both Android and iOS devices available on Google Play<\/a> and the App Store<\/a>. Needless to say, it\u2019s free to download and use.<\/p>\n As a member of the site, you help the world\u2019s largest companies and brands by participating in surveys.<\/p>\n Basically, these big companies need input from consumers like you in order to improve their products and services and develop new ones that customers will love.<\/p>\n In return for your feedback, you\u2019ll collect LifePoints that you can redeem for rewards.<\/p>\n You don\u2019t need any special skills to make money with the site \u2013 all you need to do is share your thoughts and fill out online surveys.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s how it works in a little more detail.<\/p>\n You make money with LP by taking surveys.<\/p>\n Survey invitations are sent out by email, and they can be taken any time during the survey period.<\/p>\n You can take surveys when you want to by logging in to your LP account, and clicking on the \u201cStart Now\u201d button.<\/p>\n So, that\u2019s pretty handy that you can just login to your dashboard, see if there are any available surveys and take surveys whenever you want to.<\/p>\n How many survey invites you get each month depends on what types of surveys are being conducted and how well-suited you are to each survey.<\/p>\n LP offers surveys on a range of topics, like health, sport and travel.<\/p>\n Although the length of surveys varies, it takes 10 to 20 minutes on average to complete a survey.<\/p>\n You are not required to participate in each survey, meaning you can pick one up when you want to, and pass on the surveys that don\u2019t interest you.<\/p>\n Occasionally, diaries will be sent out where you have to record specific behavior or habits for the period of time that\u2019s asked. In some cases, products are mailed to you to test out, and then you\u2019ll be prompted with questions about the product.<\/p>\n So, surveys are pretty varied.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll earn points for taking surveys. The number of points you get will depend on a couple of factors:<\/p>\n Each invitation will tell you how many points you\u2019ll get for participating and completing the survey.<\/p>\n While the main way to make money with LP is by completing surveys, you can also get points for other activities, like mini-polls, product testing<\/a>, and other types of data collection.<\/p>\n Once you\u2019ve earned your points, you\u2019ll be able to redeem them for rewards.<\/p>\n You can get PayPal vouchers.<\/p>\n You can also get e-gift certificates from places like:<\/p>\n You can also donate your points to charity if you want to.<\/p>\n There are lots of different reward options available, which you can view by clicking \u201cRewards\u201d at the top of the page when you\u2019re logged in to your member dashboard.<\/p>\n Like I said above, each survey pays differently.<\/p>\n Also, how many surveys are available to you and how many you complete will also affect how much money you make.<\/p>\n The more surveys you take, the more points you\u2019ll get.<\/p>\n On Trustpilot<\/a>, one of the site\u2019s user says they\u2019ve used the site for over 6 months, and have received $200 in gift cards.<\/p>\n This person says<\/p>\n So, that\u2019s just over $30 a month for just a couple of surveys each week.<\/p>\n You could easily make more money than that if you completed more surveys.<\/p>\n Now you know how the site works and what rewards you can get, you\u2019re probably wondering whether LifePoints is legit and how other users rate it.<\/p>\n That\u2019s a good question.<\/p>\n There are so many survey sites out there, and many of them are, unfortunately, scams.<\/p>\n That\u2019s why you do have to be careful with survey sites.<\/p>\n Is LP a good site that people actually enjoy using and make money from?<\/p>\n Below, I\u2019m going to cover customer reviews of LP from various sites, like Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau.<\/p>\n LifePoints has more than 4,400 reviews on Truspilot<\/a>, with a pretty impressive Excellent, 4.5 star rating on the site.<\/p>\n That\u2019s pretty great.<\/p>\n Customers spoke highly of the site. Here\u2019s what they had to say:<\/p>\n Of course, despite the site\u2019s Excellent rating, there were some negative reviews of LifePoints. But, I\u2019ve reviewed a lot of companies in the past and found that most of them have at least some negative reviews.<\/p>\n Most of the reviews of the company were positive.<\/p>\n LifePoints is owned by Lightspeed LLC, as I mentioned above.<\/p>\n This company is listed on the Better Business Bureau<\/a> website.<\/p>\n It has a B rating, which is pretty good.<\/p>\n But, then things turn a little sour when it comes to customer reviews, and complaints from the site\u2019s users on there too.<\/p>\n Most of the complaints and reviews discuss the following issues:<\/p>\n One of the site\u2019s users<\/a> says:<\/p>\n Even though the company responded to the BBB\u2019s inquiry<\/a>, the BBB says it, \u201cDidn\u2019t find the response sufficient to address an underlying cause of the complaints.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Next up is Reddit. I did find that the discussions of LP on Reddit were pretty negative.<\/p>\n One Redditor<\/a> echoes what many of the customers who complained about LP to the BBB were saying about the customer support being poor.<\/p>\n They worked with the site when it was known as Global Test Market. This Redditor says that it took literally years for the LifePoints customer support team to get back to them:<\/p>\n Of course, that\u2019s not too great!<\/p>\n The BBB and Reddit would indicate that customers don\u2019t have the best experience with LP.<\/p>\n They don\u2019t get points, they don\u2019t get payments, or their accounts are closed.<\/p>\n When they try to contact customer support, they get no response.<\/p>\n That does seem like a cause for concern.<\/p>\n But then you look at the company on Trustpilot and see that it\u2019s actually incredibly well reviewed.<\/p>\n The rating on there is Excellent, which tells you that this is a survey site that\u2019s actually worth trying.<\/p>\n Also, it\u2019s not one of those scam sites that makes you pay to join.<\/p>\n I\u2019d add it to your list because the thing with survey sites is that the more of them you are part of, the more surveys you have on offer.<\/p>\n When you have more surveys to take, you earn more money.<\/p>\n You might be one of those people who has a great experience.<\/p>\n Because Lightspeed LLC has changed its survey sites recently and became LP, it may have improved some of those negatives that were mentioned on the BBB.<\/p>\n After all, Lightspeed LLC has been in business for almost two decades, so some of those issues mentioned in customer complaints may no longer be a problem.<\/p>\n Of course, there is the chance that you may experience the problems customers mentioned to the BBB.<\/p>\n Just try out a few surveys and if you don\u2019t get paid, then do get in touch with customer support.<\/p>\n With any money-making venture online, you need to proceed with caution \u2013 don\u2019t put in too much of your time before you get paid.<\/p>\n Here are a few more things you need to know about LP.<\/p>\n How old do you have to be to join LifePoints?<\/strong><\/p>\n You must be 14 years or older to join the site.<\/p>\n Do LifePoints Expire?<\/strong><\/p>\n Yes, your points expire three years from the date you earned them, or sooner, after twelve months of no activity.<\/p>\n This means that if you want to keep your points, you\u2019ll need to keep your account active.<\/p>\nSo, What\u2019s LifePoints?<\/h2>\n
