Public Enemy is moving forward without one of its original (and more memorable) founders \u2014 the one and only Flavor Flav<\/strong><\/a> is out \u2026 this after a big argument over a Bernie Sanders<\/strong><\/a> rally.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The legendary hip-hop group permanently fired their longtime member Sunday night, saying \u2026 \u201cPublic Enemy and Public Enemy Radio will be moving forward without Flavor Flav.\u201d They continued, \u201cWe thank him for his years of service and wish him well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The ax comes after Flav fired off a cease-and-desist letter to the Sanders campaign last week, accusing them of using FF\u2019s image and likeness in a scheduled performance Chuck D<\/strong><\/a> and the rest of the guys had planned to put on in support of Bernie out here in L.A.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The writing was clearly on the wall from the get-go \u2014 Bernie and co. announced they were having Public Enemy Radio perform at their rally \u2026 which confused some folks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

That group is an off-shoot of the OG Public Enemy, and they do shows without Flav, which they\u2019ve apparently been doing for a little while on and off. Fact is \u2026 Flav and Chuck haven\u2019t been cool for years \u2014 ever since FF sued the group<\/strong><\/a> over profits he claimed he was owed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
