Keanu Reeves<\/strong><\/a> is back as The One for the upcoming \u2018Matrix\u2019 movie \u2014 but oddly enough \u2026 his new Neo looks a lot like another action hero he\u2019s been playing lately, to much acclaim.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n TMZ obtained new photos of Keanu, Carrie-Anne Moss<\/strong> (who played Trinity) and director Lana Wachowski<\/strong><\/a> on the set of \u201cThe Matrix 4,\u201d which has been filming in San Francisco these past couple weeks or so. These latest pics were shot Friday in the Financial District.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n You can see Keanu here, and it looks like Lana and co. have Mr. Anderson rocking a fresh look we\u2019re not used to when it comes to Neo \u2014 who was clean-cut in the OG flicks. Now, The One has a striking resemblance to the widowed hitman John Wick. Like, to a T.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n He\u2019s got the same shoulder-length hair JW has, and the same messy beard too. Shoot, Neo\u2019s even got the same dark outfits John wears \u2014 although, Neo did it first, technically.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Other shots of Keanu on set have surfaced lately, and it seems to confirm Lana\u2019s got Neo in a bummy state within the Matrix. Who knows what his \u201creal-world\u201d appearance will be.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Even cooler than seeing Keanu back in action \u2026 getting a glimpse of Carrie-Anne on set, who\u2019s reprising her role as Neo\u2019s love interest. We\u2019re told she too was on set Friday, and we got a shot of her with her back to the camera, sporting her signature short hair.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Oh, and Keanu\u2019s girlfriend, Alexandra Grant<\/strong>, was spotted hanging around as well. Supporting her man, it seems.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Now, we\u2019re told this latest scene consisted of a SWAT team going in and out of a building \u2014 with a black SUV parked out front under green neon lighting. Very \u2018Matrix\u2019-esque, right?!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Still no sign of any of the other stars who\u2019ve been tied to the project, including Jada Pinkett<\/strong><\/a>, Neil Patrick Harris<\/strong><\/a>, Priyanka Chopra<\/strong><\/a>, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II<\/strong> \u2026 or Laurence Fishburne<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The latter hasn\u2019t been announced as being involved yet, but ya gotta imagine Morpheus will be back.
