Ja\u2019Net DuBois<\/strong> \u2014 one of the main characters on \u201cGood Times\u201d \u2014 died Monday \u2026 TMZ has learned.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Ja\u2019Net played the Evans family\u2019s sassy neighbor Willona Woods on the classic \u201970s TV series. Her family tells us \u2026 Ja\u2019Net died unexpectedly in her sleep overnight at her home in Glendale, CA.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n We\u2019re told Ja\u2019Net hadn\u2019t complained of any specific ailments recently, and appeared to be in good health to those around her. She even attended a fan event in Hollywood a couple weeks ago.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Ja\u2019Net might be most famous for \u201cGood Times,\u201d but she also composed and sang the theme song, \u201cMovin\u2019 On Up,\u201d for \u201cThe Jeffersons\u201d \u2014 so, she should also be remembered for her voice.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n She appeared in tons of movies over the years, including \u201cI\u2019m Gonna Git You Sucka\u201d, \u201cTropic Thunder\u201d and \u201cCharlie\u2019s Angels: Full Throttle.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Ja\u2019Net\u2019s acting career began on Broadway, where she was cast in a number of plays including \u201cGolden Boy\u201d with Sammy Davis Jr.<\/strong> and Louis Gossett Jr<\/strong>. \u2014 plus \u201cA Raisin In The Sun.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n She also won two Emmy awards for her voice-over work on \u201cThe PJs.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Ja\u2019Net is survived by her 3 children.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n She was 74.
