TMZ\/Idiot Box Art<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Justin Bieber<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>started a trend with some cartoon Kobe Bryant<\/strong><\/a> tribute art \u2026 and now Kobe\u2019s foundation is reaping a sizable benefit.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Here\u2019s the deal \u2026 Justin bought some fresh Kobe-inspired artwork from Idiot Box Art owners Emily Bright <\/strong>and Tamara Martin<\/strong>, and then the artists started making and selling miniature versions for $200 a pop, with 24 percent of the profits going to the MambaOnThree Fund<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The cartoon Kobe art is pretty cool \u2026 it\u2019s a teddy bear wearing a Mamba hoodie under Kobe\u2019s #8 Lakers jersey, palming a basketball and rocking some of Kobe\u2019s signature Nikes.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Justin dropped $1,200 for a bigger piece \u2014 one of only 5 ever made \u2014 and hung it up in his crib next to some skateboard decks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Lots of folks apparently share Justin\u2019s eye for Kobe art \u2026 because Idiot Box ended up selling 260 mini Mamba bears during a 2-day limited sale, which was enough to make a $12,480 donation to Kobe\u2019s foundation.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n MambaOnThree was created to support the families of the 7 other victims<\/strong><\/a>, besides Kobe and Gigi<\/strong><\/a>, who died in the crash<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
