The images include what looks like a knife fight between 2 prisoners, gruesome injuries and horrific filth inside a cell.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fda2318467cdc9bee1ceaa752e30e79c\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-image-block canvas-image-block-permalink \">\n<div class=\"image-block\">\n       <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Governor\" alt=\"Governor\" class=\"img-fluid img-aspect-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/1579046949_867_Yo-Gotti-Team-Roc-File-Lawsuit-on-Behalf-of-Mississippi-Prisoners.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><span class=\"media-credit image-block__media-credit\">Reuters<\/span>\n         <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fb302d388b2d2408434affc4319d51b4\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"40\">\n<p>TMZ broke the story \u2026 Yo Gotti, with Team Roc\u2019s support, is taking legal action over the conditions seen in the video. Most recently, they\u2019ve filed for an emergency protective order in federal court \u2014 on behalf of dozens of inmates \u2014 and they\u2019ve now added some of these photos to that filing.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-8084f0d51af06b8f000b116bfb4e8774\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"31.9417475728\">\n<p>Mississippi Gov. <strong>Tate Reeves<\/strong> just announced he will shut down one infamous section of the prison \u2014 which Team Roc\u2019s attorneys say is grossly understaffed. Gotti says <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2020\/01\/10\/yo-gotti-mississippi-prisons-deaths-gangs-roc-nation-jay-z-governor-phil-bryant\/\"><strong>that\u2019s an improvement<\/strong><\/a>, but a small one.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-09030697f29f0f3ff8876735b6d8b154\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"41\">\n<p>He tells TMZ \u2026 \u201cGovernor Reeves\u2019 plan to close down a Parchman prison unit that has caused devastating deaths is a necessary first step. Beyond that, he must implement broader safety measures to address similar issues in other units and urgently provide inmates with medical attention.
