However, you have to be careful that you don’t waste your time with scams.

In 3HourJob review, we will be discussing a site that claims to give people work from data entry jobs but is actually a scam. It is simply a get-rich-quick scheme trying to take advantage of people.

According to Online Threat Alert, the site uses many different methods to advertise itself as a job site when it actually doesn’t pay anything at all. Later on, I will go through the different lies this site employs to trick people.

This site is a fake “work from home” program. It claims users can make $500 per day but just working a few hours.

The way it works is that once you sign up, and provide tons of personal details about yourself, the site will encourage you to buy something called a “Website ATM” for $47.

Want $5 Free?

Join InboxDollars for free. Usually overseas calls will come in and ask you to do various data entry tasks. Once you finish your work, you’re supposed to submit your work and then get paid.

Sounds simple, right?

Well here’s the problem with that. They keep your information to use for whatever they want and they also won’t send you any money.

Is 3hourjob a Scam?

Yes, it is!

Beyond the fact that there are many people who have confirmed they were never paid by the site, there are actually several other major warning signs that the site is a scam.

When you visit the website, the URL will redirect to a random site depending on where your location. You may land on a site claiming to be a news website boasting how amazing 3HourJob is. Another possible site is a video of a woman claiming to be a mom who works at home and makes tons of money.

The site is designed to pressure people into signing up as soon as possible. You can find count down timers or a graphic that shows the number of available jobs going down.

All of this is fake. It’s there to scare people into agreeing to sign up without thinking clearly.

Another interesting thing about the website is that it claims they have been seen on:

However, they have never been featured by any of these companies. It’s a total lie to make you trust them.

They are known to harass people too if they get ahold of someone’s phone number. If you check the comments of this article, you can see that many people have claimed that they got phone calls from someone claiming to work for the site.

While it’s hard to know how this company operates, I believe it’s likely that they sell contact information from people who signed up to other scammers. They can also try to steal your identity with the information you provide to them during sign up.

Better Business Bureau Rating

According to the BBB, 3HourJob has an F rating. This is due to the fact that it is been open for only a short amount of time and has shown to have untrustworthy business practices.

3HourJob is also not accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

There are no customer reviews or complaints about the site yet, but that is likely due to the fact that this company is fairly new.

If you want to read more of BBB’s short profile on the company, you can find it here.

User reviews of 3HourJob

Thankfully, it seems that very few people have fallen for this scam. Most user reviews that I could find were about the numerous phone calls people have gotten from the scam recruiters.

“I just got a voicemail from it. I know I hadn’t applied to a data entry job so I knew must be a scam. Sure enough, the website is blocked on my works network for being questionable,” said one Reddit user.

One interesting thing a user pointed out was that the scammers might be using job recruitment sites to target people.

“Just received a voicemail from this scam also. I am looking for work, but I work in healthcare so I know I didn’t apply as the voicemail indicated. I knew it must be a scam right away. I wonder if one of the job sites I use got hacked. Don’t give them your contact information. Definitely don’t buy anything from them either.

It’s been reported that the site has closed down. However, there is no indication that this will last long. They could easily start up a new website under another name and run the same scam again. For this reason, you need to be careful.

It’s important to remember that if a job seems too good to be true, then it probably is! There are lots of great work-from-home opportunities out there. However, you have to be careful that they are legit.

Always check the reviews of the sites you are interested in joining. Always find out what the Better Business Bureau has to say about the company. Always find real comments from people on sites like Reddit, where you know the company didn’t hire them to say nice things.

Also, remember that no legit work at home company will charge you a fee for working for them!

If you follow these tips, you’ll be much safer from money scam and sites like 3HourJob.

Have you had any experience with sites like this?
