Kodak Black<\/strong><\/a> can start marking the days off his calendar \u2014 if that\u2019s allowed in federal prison \u2014 because we\u2019ve just learned when he\u2019ll be released.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Kodak will be free again on or about Aug. 14, 2022 \u2014 according to the feds. He could get out a few days earlier because the 14th falls on a Sunday. It\u2019s federal policy to let inmates out early if their release date falls on a weekend.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The rapper also knows the Bluegrass State will apparently be his home until then. Kodak\u2019s currently being transferred to a federal prison in Oklahoma City \u2014 a temporary stop before one more transfer. His attorney says he\u2019ll end up in a federal pen in Kentucky.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Kodak is serving 46 months<\/strong><\/a> for a gun possession case<\/strong><\/a>, and has spent the first chunk of his sentence in a Miami federal pen.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As you know \u2026 he claims FCI Miami was a living hell, and he\u2019s blaming correctional officers<\/strong><\/a> for much of his alleged misfortunes. He\u2019s made a point to speak out about his alleged mistreatment in social media posts, claiming he was drugged, beaten and denied food and other privileges.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Kodak\u2019s mom just hired powerhouse attorney<\/strong><\/a> Benjamin Crump<\/strong>, who repped Trayvon Martin<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s family in the George Zimmerman<\/strong><\/a> case and she\u2019s threatening to sue the Bureau of Prisons.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Despite Kodak\u2019s beef with FCI Miami, sources close to the situation believe he was transferred to another prison because it\u2019s standard ops.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

We\u2019re told prisoners don\u2019t typically serve out their sentences at FCI Miami, they are given a risk assessment to determine which prison is the best fit for them. Once that\u2019s done, they ship out to the new spot. In Kodak\u2019s case \u2026 it\u2019s an old Kentucky home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
