Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> seems ready to switch things up for his second go-around on \u2018Mary\u2019 \u2014 this time, kids are going to be directly involved, as will a big surprise guest \u2026 supposedly.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The rapper\u2019s in NYC right now, where he\u2019s hours away from his 2nd performance of his latest opera at Lincoln Center\u2019s David Geffen Hall. On Saturday, he was in rehearsals \u2026 and a bunch of tykes were spotted onstage at the David H. Koch Theater across the way \u2014 where we\u2019re told everyone was warming up their pipes and getting the cues down.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

People on the scene tell us they saw the kids rehearsing their singing too, as we\u2019re told it appears they\u2019re going to be incorporated into the chorus of adults \u2014 made up of Ye\u2019s Sunday Service choir<\/strong><\/a>, of course. That\u2019s different than what he did<\/strong><\/a> at Art Basel 2 weeks ago.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

According to reports, it was just Ye, the choir and some extra actors \u2014 many of whom were draped in silver from head to toe \u2014 putting on the hour-long \u2018Mary\u2019 opera.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Now \u2026 it appears he\u2019s gonna have children involved, but we\u2019re hearing that\u2019s not the only major change. According to witnesses on the ground, Akon<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s been seen around the facility \u2026 \u00a0and word has it, he\u2019s set to take the stage with Ye and co. as well come showtime.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

And, if the rumor holds up, he won\u2019t just be an extra voice in the background \u2026 we\u2019re told Akon\u2019s expected to actually lead the choir\/chorus and have a major role in the goings-on.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
