British singer and songwriter Katie White<\/strong> gained fame a little over a decade ago while fronting the rock group The Ting Tings who released the hit-filled \u201cWe Started Nothing\u201d album that included smashing singles like \u201cShut Up and Let Me Go<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d \u201cGreat DJ<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and the uber-catchy anthem, \u201cThat\u2019s Not My Name<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Katie White started the onomatopoeia pop group with fellow musician Jules De Martino<\/strong> who was mostly seen on the drums during live performances while White focused on guitar and vocals.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

After their freshman debut, The Ting Tings released a hand full of other groovy albums but none were as well-received as their first.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
