Smith claims his intent was to \u201cbuy time\u201d until he came up with a better plan to convince Kelly NOT to marry her.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-bde2c64943316d8bcc93dc2d99cb3a79\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"33\">\n<p>Smith says both he and Kelly knew she was underage. Interestingly, he says the ID he had made for Aaliyah did NOT have an age on it. He would not elaborate on what kind of ID it was.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-afde91c0cd760a8d522cd6130288f82b\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-block-is-last \" readability=\"35.4369747899\">\n<p>Smith says his hindsight is 20\/20 \u2014 and he told us how he wishes he\u2019d handled Kelly and the fake ID back then.
