hey, at least he can say he tried in good faith.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fea40b8e6ff1ce9a8583db4791ff9f74\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"33\">\n<p>The rapper is heading back to Sweden in about a week for a concert on Dec. 11 \u2014 and while he\u2019s expressed interest in possibly playing a gig for the inmates at Kronoberg prison \u2026 it ain\u2019t gonna happen.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-71b9898d8b6acc714d8fed2d639db549\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"31\">\n<p>The reason \u2026 a honcho with Sweden\u2019s Prison and Probation Service tells TMZ there were logistical and security concerns that prevented them from getting something together.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-29b752872d0df92cd0a6a14834ef5be4\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"28.4059405941\">\n<p>You\u2019ll recall, Rocky himself was a prisoner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/08\/02\/asap-rocky-witnesses-not-strike-alleged-victim-bottle\/\"><strong>for a good while<\/strong><\/a> this summer as his assault case stalled.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-416556754e4aca8ff88163920464450b\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-video-block canvas-video-block-permalink \">\n<div was very interested in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/11\/08\/asap-rocky-returning-sweden-stockholm-concert-jail-assault-case\/\"><strong>heading back<\/strong><\/a> to the Euro country and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/11\/19\/asap-rocky-sweden-concert-immigration-prisoners-donald-trump\/\"><strong>giving back<\/strong><\/a> for the inmates with whom he was once jailed. And, of course, the same Prison and Probation Service that\u2019s denying him now said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/11\/24\/asap-rocky-sweden-jail-performance-show-inmates-gig-immigrants-swedish\/\"><strong>they were open<\/strong><\/a> to the idea as well.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-7611f4dd9148cebca6a0c95d12618366\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"47\">\n<p>So, what\u2019s with the cold shoulder then? Well, specifically, the Service cited a high occupancy as the main reason for saying no. There might be other issues, though, based on Rocky\u2019s written request \u2026 which TMZ has obtained. In a letter written sent to prison officials Tuesday \u2014 in Swedish, no less \u2014 AR\u2019s team formally made the ask.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-b9cf18dd15e1b7d509d23888a0c32502\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>According to the doc, Rocky says he wanted to swing by Kronoberg while he was in town and bring a DJ and what sounds like 11 accompanying performers and tech crew members. He also requested to have 4 to 5 different camera guys there to document it.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-be2dbddff46e855bc253f3a9507d981c\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-gallery-block canvas-gallery-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-3455f534a86fdec8fe6bee0a09b91bec\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-block-is-last \" readability=\"41\">\n<p>Sounds like he wanted to bring a ton of people inside, which the prison didn\u2019t seem too down for, considering they\u2019re already packed to the gills.
