Tekashi 6ix9ine<\/strong><\/a> has at least one legal woe off his plate \u2014 his mall attack case out of Houston has been tossed out \u2026 and the reasons for doing so are interesting.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The State of Texas formally requested to have Tekashi\u2019s assault charges stemming from an alleged 2018 altercation completely dismissed, and a judge signed off on it Monday.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

As for why it got tossed \u2014 first, the state says the complaining witness \u2014 or the alleged victim in this case \u2014 requested it be so \u2026 which we already knew. The kid who allegedly got choked out by Tekashi later showed up to one of the rapper\u2019s court hearings in the matter and <\/strong>posed with him<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

You\u2019ll recall \u2026 the whole thing started over the kid, Santiago Albarran<\/strong>, recording Tekashi against his wishes, which allegedly resulted in Tekashi putting his hands around SA\u2019s throat<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

At the hearing, Santiago told Tekashi\u2019s attorney that he wanted to drop the charges, and also apparently said he\u2019d expressed that to the prosecution too. Looks like they listened.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

There\u2019s one more reason the state cited for wanting the case dismissed \u2026 prosecutors say moving Tekashi to Texas is a \u201csecurity risk\u201d now that he\u2019s cooperated with the feds in NYC. Of course, they\u2019re referring to Tekashi69\u2019s snitching<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 in which he testified against<\/strong><\/a> alleged former associates.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Tekashi hasn\u2019t been sentenced in his racketeering case<\/strong><\/a>, but the hope is the feds will cut him a break now that he\u2019s been singing for them from the canary cage and helped them score convictions against others.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
