Who knew that\u2019s what he was up to when he wasn\u2019t making music or performing live?!?<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-ae3c27faed97e60c8924ccf889e22927\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>The British rocker finally revealed his secret passion in an interview with Railway Modeller magazine, telling the outlet he even took his hobby on tour, working on skyscrapers and other scenery in extra hotel rooms specifically reserved for his construction project.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-0b91c8f9074a53bc1032ce3bfee0b079\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>Rod says he prefers creating structures and scenery as opposed to laying down railroad \u2026 and his whimsical town features warehouses, high-rises, mills and different landscapes.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-f20c8d0c66884ef54900810e3e583e1f\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"39\">\n<p>The railway infrastructure is pretty detailed too \u2026 there\u2019s rail stations, tunnels, bridges and, of course, tracks. There\u2019s even cars and ships.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-70fadb9a232665773cfc52cac716a37f\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-youtube-video-block canvas-youtube-video-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-aaf761d322bc1469e5930282ea3db99a\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>Rod\u2019s city is so intricate, he says he made sure every pavement stone in town is a slightly different color.
