We looked into it, and shoulder belts were a rarity in the \u201969 model. Lap belts were there, but not all these old cars had the newly-enforced safety harness all cars have today.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-5de90471c21c5b11a4b7bff0c2dec666\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"36.5652173913\">\n<p>Obviously, this is a big deal for a couple different reasons. The fact that Kevin\u2019s driving at all should be a little worrying, but driving another souped-up oldie like this might as well be a death wish, considering what he just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/09\/05\/kevin-hart-fractured-spine-car-accident-recovery\/\"><strong>went through<\/strong><\/a> about a month ago with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/09\/01\/kevin-hart-car-accident-malibu-off-road-passengers-trapped\/\"><strong>the crash<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-5dcb4abbcfd1f363fe4492aaf6bf4eac\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-gallery-block canvas-gallery-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-e31a81c0464236b8157991230e795c28\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"24.7613636364\">\n<p>Remember, Kevin\u2019s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/09\/07\/kevin-hart-car-crash-lap-belt-seating-roll-cage-plymouth-barracuda-back-injury\/\"><strong>didn\u2019t have safety harnesses<\/strong><\/a>.
