Jackson<\/strong><\/a> says he was on \u201cthin ice\u201d with God for playing a gay character in \u201cTropic Thunder\u201d \u2026 but says wearing a dress in \u201cBig Mommas\u201d was worse for him.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fec60856bcb918e63fa3362c0c4537c2\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"31\">\n<p>Jackson famously played Alpa Chino in the 2008 Ben Stiller flick \u2014 a closeted actor who accidentally revealed feelings for a guy named \u201cLance\u201d \u2026 it was a hilarious scene.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-df0e7d79a857236f2adfa3208dea9e4a\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-youtube-video-block canvas-youtube-video-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-9f73e3796cd14b85a754334de507072d\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"33\">\n<p>But, Jackson is now a pretty religious Black Hebrew Israelite \u2014 and playing gay doesn\u2019t jive with his religious beliefs.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-2ed7e648f7410f4d248c211d630a5a53\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>\u201cI was on thin ice then with the father,\u201d Jackson said on \u201cTMZ Live\u201d \u2026 \u201cBut, he had his mercy and his grace was there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-b9d8f41ff96b77f3d81a1a9e6b753267\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"35\">\n<p>Jackson says the bigger issue is when he wore a women\u2019s dress for his role in the 2011 Martin Lawrence flick, \u201cBig Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-3397ac613db1f36ed65f4acab2674592\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"33\">\n<p>Jackson says he broke a religious law prohibiting men from wearing women\u2019s clothing \u2014 \u201cAnd, when you break a law you get punished.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-dda656268516cfeced9c56cf1d9f4040\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"33\">\n<p>So, what went wrong? Jackson says his career and his personal life took a serious hit and he even uses the word \u201ccurse.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fbc665dee8fb3706b10d8295a6c902e3\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"31\">\n<p>\u201cIf you don\u2019t follow all the commandments that the Torah says to do, you\u2019ll be cursed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-2f41023bda393b40651184552e790794\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink canvas-block-is-last \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>Jackson feels he\u2019s right with God now and everything is back on track \u2014 saying, \u201cMy life is great, 4 kids. Loving life.
