Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> won\u2019t be showing her face<\/del> banner anymore when the Los Angeles Kings are in town \u2014 \u2019cause the fans don\u2019t wanna see it \u2026 and the team is obliging.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

L.A.\u2019s pro hockey team made the announcement over the weekend \u2026 saying that, going forward, the Kings will be covering up Taylor\u2019s banner during their home games at STAPLES Center. It\u2019s hanging in the rafters next to Lakers banners and retired jerseys.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

A marketing rep for the Kings told Arash Markazi<\/strong><\/a> of the L.A. Times that fans just weren\u2019t digging it, so the team wants to show \u2019em they\u2019re listening. Michael Altieri says, \u201cThe connection to our fans is our highest priority and through our engagement they have made it clear that the banner shouldn\u2019t be part of their Kings game experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

He added, \u201cWe didn\u2019t see an issue in covering it for our games and in fact see it as an opportunity to show our fans that we hear them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
