Kevin Hart<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s car crash was caused by the driver operating the vehicle in a reckless fashion \u2026 this according to the California Highway Patrol, which has just completed its report on the accident.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Law enforcement sources tell us \u2026 Kevin\u2019s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda crashed because driver Jared Black<\/strong> gunned the engine and lost control. The car had incredible power with a 720-HP engine. We\u2019re told the sudden acceleration and loss of control caused the vehicle to go into a spin and it ended up crashing through a fence and into an embankment.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

According to our sources, the report says none of the 3 people in the car were wearing seat belts. As we reported, the Barracuda did not have safety harnesses, but now it\u2019s not an issue since they weren\u2019t wearing any safety device.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Our sources say the vehicle did not have any mechanical issues. It was purely driver error \u2014 willful or wanton disregard for people or property.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Although the CHP report lays the blame at Jared\u2019s doorstep, Kevin doesn\u2019t seem to harbor bad feelings. He tells TMZ through his lawyer, Andrew Brettler<\/strong>, \u201cI have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As we first reported \u2026 CHP disassembled Kevin\u2019s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda<\/strong><\/a> to determine the cause of the crash, stripping it down to nuts, bolts and metal pieces to evaluate the evidence and write a report.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

TMZ broke the story \u2026 Kevin suffered 3 spinal fractures<\/strong><\/a> when his car smashed through<\/strong><\/a> a fence on Mulholland Highway in Malibu. He underwent serious back surgery<\/strong><\/a>, with doctors fusing 3 sections of his spine.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Now, Kevin\u2019s easing back to full health<\/strong><\/a> with a physical therapist<\/strong><\/a> and is already back on the job<\/strong><\/a> promoting his upcoming \u2018Jumanji\u2019 sequel with some 2-hour shoots on set.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Jared suffered similar injuries to Kevin, who was riding shotgun. Jared\u2019s fiancee, Rebecca Broxterman<\/strong>, was in the backseat, but she escaped the crash with minor pain. All 3 have lawyered up, and everyone\u2019s expecting a big lawsuit<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

You\u2019ll recall \u2026 a witness within earshot of the crash told us they heard tires screeching<\/strong><\/a> before hearing a loud boom.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

And multiple sources tell us \u2026 there will be multiple lawsuits stemming from the crash.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
