All 3 men arrested in connection with Mac Miller<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s death have now been indicted, and accused of dealing counterfeit oxycodone that caused the rapper\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

A federal grand jury handed up the indictments of Cameron Pettit<\/strong>, Stephen Walter<\/strong> and Ryan Reavis<\/strong> in a California federal court. The indictment backs up what TMZ first reported \u2026 that Mac ordered 10 \u201cblues\u201d \u2014 a street term for oxycodone \u2014 as well cocaine and Xanax. Prosecutors say that instead of getting oxycodone on Sept. 5, 2018 \u2026 the pills Mac received were counterfeit<\/strong><\/a> and contained fentanyl \u2026 the powerful synthetic opioid 50 times more potent than heroin.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The feds say Mac crushed the pills, snorted them and died<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As we reported \u2026 feds say the deal<\/strong><\/a> went down like this: Mac ordered from Pettit, Pettit ordered from Walter \u2026 and Reavis was the mule<\/strong><\/a>, delivering the drugs from Walter to Pettit.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

All 3 are charged with conspiring to distribute controlled substances resulting in death, and distribution of fentanyl resulting in death. Each charge carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years and potential max of life without parole.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Walter is also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition \u2014 and faces up to 10 years in prison for that. He\u2019d previously been convicted on a drug distribution charge.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

If you\u2019re wondering why law enforcement has put so many man hours into tracking down Miller\u2019s alleged dealers \u2014 the feds say \u201cfentanyl is now the number one cause of overdose deaths in the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
