Kelly<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s excuse he needs to get outta jail while his criminal case is pending \u2026 saying the singer\u2019s full of BS, and is likely to make a run for it.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ \u2026 the government says Kelly\u2019s definitely a flight risk if he gets outta jail, even though the singer\u2019s legal team claims his passport doesn\u2019t contain a single stamp showing international travel.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n In docs, prosecutors say earlier this year after he was released on bail in Illinois, Kelly sought to travel to Dubai<\/strong><\/a> with his two GFs, each of whom took steps to get their own passports.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Prosecutors also called BS on Kelly\u2019s legal team claiming the singer won\u2019t tamper with or intimidate witnesses<\/strong><\/a>. The government contends Kelly \u201chas a history of coercing women to write letters containing false and embarrassing allegations\u201d so he can later use them as blackmail.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n And, then there\u2019s this \u2026 prosecutors say Kelly\u2019s claim he\u2019s broke is misleading because he continues to get hundreds of thousands of dollars in royalties for his music. What\u2019s more \u2026 the government argues it found out he\u2019s redirecting these royalties to the bank account of a childhood friend, but could easily redirect the dough to himself.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The government\u2019s docs don\u2019t include any visible response to Kelly\u2019s claim he\u2019s in failing health and should be released as a result. However, chunks of the document are redacted.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n TMZ broke the story \u2026 Kelly\u2019s lawyer filed legal docs<\/strong><\/a> in which they outline various medical issues, including numbness in one of his hands, anxiety and an untreated hernia.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Kelly\u2019s legal team, in their filing, assured the judge the singer would not be a flight risk<\/strong><\/a> and he vowed not to tamper with or intimidate witnesses.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
