12:19 PM PT<\/strong> \u2014 We\u2019re told Robert was actually in a West Virginia hospital before he was transferred to a specialty hospital in Pennsylvania, where he died. We\u2019re told he\u2019ll be cremated. His brother, Patrick, tells TMZ, \u201cMy brother was a fun-loving guy. He enjoyed people and he enjoyed life. He liked to have fun and make people laugh up until the very end. He will definitely be missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Robert Garrison<\/strong> \u2014 the actor best known for playing Tommy in \u201cThe Karate Kid\u201d and its sequel \u2014 has died \u2026 according to his family.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Garrison\u2019s sister-in-law tells TMZ \u2026 he died Friday morning at a hospital in West Virginia. She says his passing wasn\u2019t sudden \u2014 he had been in the hospital for over a month dealing with kidney and liver issues.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We\u2019re told the family is currently working on funeral arrangements.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
