A camera crashing down into the Life is Beautiful music festival left 3 women injured \u2014 and 2 of them needing immediate medical treatment.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The scary accident happened Saturday night at the Las Vegas festival \u2026 a huge camera fell about 35 feet, landing on top of the victims. We\u2019re told the camera was fastened to a cable, but slipped off \u2026 sending the camera and pieces of its rigging plummeting into the crowd.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We\u2019re told the whole apparatus weighs about 20 pounds!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

All 3 women were treated on scene, but 2 of them needed more assistance and had to be rushed to a hospital. We\u2019re told one woman was treated for a head injury, and the other for a leg injury. They\u2019ve both been released.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The group Of Monsters and Men was performing on the main stage when the camera free fell \u2026 creating, as you can see, a very bloody scene.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

A rep for the festival tells us, \u201cThe safety and security of our guests, partners, artists and employees is our first priority. Our thoughts and well wishes are with those affected by the incident.\u201d They also say there is an ongoing investigation and they are working to identify the cause of the incident.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

It\u2019s the second straight year equipment has injured people at Life is Beautiful.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We broke the story \u2026 in the middle ODESZA<\/strong>\u2018s set last year, a firework came screaming into the crowd, and the explosion injured<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>2 people.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
