He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be.\u201d Suzie added, \u201cHe adored his family, his friends and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us. We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-c07474f40141f4cf58cd59f60ce7b93c\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>Sid had recently been hospitalized and transferred to the ICU after he was involved in some sort of accident \u2014 this per screenshots of his IG account, which was apparently run by his wife. On Sept. 6, she was asking for prayers.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-bdbb7fc2abf2cb019133c12169c0afdc\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"29\">\n<p>Sid\u2019s rep would only tell TMZ that the accident was something that took place at his home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-d9284150e08ff0443884d2861a6366c8\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>The exact circumstances of his death remain a mystery, but the outpouring of love from the horror community has been overwhelming \u2014 including from Rob Zombie himself, who shared a brief remembrance of his longtime collaborator.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-ae445d5d576cf0f40752c1fbabdd09b7\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>Sid has starred as the patriarch of the Firefly family in \u201cHouse of 1000 Corpses,\u201d \u201cThe Devil\u2019s Rejects\u201d and most recently, \u201c3 From Hell,\u201d which just hit theaters last week.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-b010503dd6b11df729ce785f1e8dab41\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-youtube-video-block canvas-youtube-video-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-8047dbd3071799de281eb252c50d7ade\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"47\">\n<p>Aside from acting in Rob\u2019s films, he also starred in several other horror flicks over his 50-plus-year career, including roles in \u201cBone Tomahawk,\u201d \u201cHatchet III,\u201d \u201cThe Lords of Salem,\u201d \u201cDevil in My Ride,\u201d \u201cNight of the Living Dead 3D,\u201d and tons of other films.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-fe6e1dc63dcca0aa8fb78c48d7199779\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"55\">\n<p>He also starred on TV shows like \u201cMacGyver,\u201d \u201cThe Fall Guy,\u201d \u201cJason of Star Command,\u201d \u201cMary Hartman, Mary Hartman,\u201d \u201cMission: Impossible,\u201d \u201cGet Smart,\u201d \u201cGunsmoke,\u201d \u201cStar Trek,\u201d \u201cThe Lucy Show,\u201d \u201cThe Six Million Dollar Man,\u201d and countless others.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-bb2d779b8158877ef41bf00e685b0bca\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-youtube-video-block canvas-youtube-video-block-permalink \"\/>\n<section id=\"cb-e2c3df7b61b6324c241202d65e73fb04\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>Sid had 149 acting credits to his name, and was considered a fixture in the cult horror genre. We last talked to him in 2017, he was catching us up on projects he was working on at the time \u2014 saying he had 4 projects in the can.
