TMZ.com<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Kevin Hart<\/strong><\/a> has checked out of his in-patient rehab facility and is back home where he\u2019s receiving intensive physical therapy, but the big takeaway \u2026 he\u2019s \u201cgrateful\u201d and \u201cshocked\u201d he\u2019s alive.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Sources very close to Kevin tell us, he\u2019s looked at the photos of the car crash<\/strong><\/a> and can\u2019t believe anyone walked out alive. TMZ broke the story, Kevin messed up his back something bad \u2014 3 spinal fractures<\/strong><\/a> that required fusion.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n He spent 10 days in the hospital<\/strong><\/a> under heavy pain meds and was then transferred<\/strong><\/a> to the in-patient facility, but he\u2019s home now. He has a physical therapist coming to his house most days \u2026 and he\u2019s doing lots of stretching and exercises with therapy bands.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n He\u2019s still in a lot of pain but says he\u2019s handling it without all the meds that knocked him out<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n We\u2019re also told he\u2019s not worried about the injuries torpedoing his career \u2026 doctors and the P.T. have assured him he\u2019ll be pretty much back to where he was before the accident, and he had nothing immediate<\/strong><\/a> on his plate work-wise, so he can focus on bouncing back.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Kevin says he\u2019s grateful to be alive and has \u201ca new perspective on life.\u201d We asked what that meant and were told, \u201cHe really cherishes the fact that he\u2019s alive, and wants to make the most of it in every respect. The crash had a huge impact on him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
