Backgrid<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n It\u2019s been widely, widely reported Jamie Spears<\/strong><\/a> is temporarily out as Britney<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s conservator, but we\u2019ve learned that\u2019s not entirely true.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Sources with direct knowledge tell us Jamie is still ensconced as the conservator of Britney\u2019s estate, meaning he has total control over her investments, business deals, check-writing, etc, etc \u2026 all things money.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n What Jamie temporarily relinquished \u2014 the conservatorship over Britney\u2019s \u201cperson.\u201d Yep, there are actually 2 conservatorships \u2014 one for the estate and one for the person. The latter is taking care of Britney, making sure she gets proper medical care and on and on.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Jamie said he was relinquishing temporary control<\/strong><\/a> because of a medical condition. We\u2019ve learned he\u2019s having ankle surgery that will bench him for 10 weeks. It\u2019s undeniable, however, that there was a big problem \u2026 Jamie is prohibited from having any contact<\/strong><\/a> with Britney\u2019s kids after he allegedly put his hands<\/strong><\/a> on 13-year-old Sean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The judge in the conservatorship case will get a critical report next week from a court-appointed evaluator who will determine if Jamie and the team have done a good job.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
