Kanye West<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s futuristic housing community needs a new home base \u2026 because his dome-shaped structures in Calabasas have been destroyed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

All but one of the housing prototypes were torn down with about a week to spare before the September 15 deadline \u2026 imposed by the L.A. County Dept. of Public Works for violating the building code.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As you can see in these aerial photos taken Monday \u2026 all that\u2019s left at the site, where at least 3 of Ye\u2019s huge domes<\/strong><\/a> once sat, is a bunch of rubble, a dump truck and one small dome-ish tower. We\u2019re told that one is also coming down before the deadline.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We broke the story \u2026 Kanye\u2019s neighbors were pissed in mid-August over construction crews<\/strong><\/a> working on his property all weekend long, including Sundays, which isn\u2019t allowed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Cops were called and put an end to the noise, but the workers have clearly still been busy with the tear-down process<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As we told you \u2026 Kanye\u2019s prototypes are part of his vision of an egalitarian community<\/strong><\/a>, but he didn\u2019t get the proper permits to build them.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

It\u2019s unclear if he\u2019s moving the project elsewhere \u2014 he did just buy a huge ranch in Wyoming<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 or putting it on hold. Whatever he decides, construction will have to start from scratch.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
