Eazy-E<\/strong><\/a> would\u2019ve been happy about this \u2014 his family just put in a new tombstone over his grave that\u2019s worthy of his excellence \u2026 and that\u2019s properly fact-checked too.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The unveiling of E\u2019s new headstone went down Saturday at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier, CA \u2014 where his kids, friends, fam and die-hard fans came out to show the world a newly commissioned engraving that was way more decked out than his OG slab.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n It also included his correct date of birth, with the right year \u2026 1964, not 1963 as his tombstone had indicated for years since he was buried in the \u201990s.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n I want a tombstone like eazy e when I pass😢 pic.twitter.com\/PizJ2Lbgrb<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 kam \u271f (@itskamlol) November 30, 2016<\/a> Besides that, the headstone is truly a work of art \u2014 with photos of Eazy from his NWA days, and a new title that reads, \u201cThe Godfather of Gangsta Rap.\u201d It includes the same line from his old tombstone \u2014 \u201cWe loved him, but God loved him more\u201d \u2014 but has an additional remembrance as well \u2026 \u201cHe Put Compton On The Map.\u201d Yep, he sure did.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Eazy\u2019s kids have told the media that this is something they\u2019ve wanted to do for a long time for their dad, as the old grave site was, frankly, not up to par \u2026 not to mention misleading.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n What makes the day so special in addition to the new headstone itself is the fact that it was put on display on what would\u2019ve been Eazy\u2019s 55th birthday.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The rapper died in 1995 from complications due to HIV\/AIDS. He was only 30 years old.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n
