Kelly<\/strong><\/a> the powerhouse defense team he says he needs \u2026 but it\u2019s still a work in progress.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Sources close to Kelly\u2019s girlfriends\/alleged sex slaves tell TMZ \u2026 they\u2019re joining forces to help Kelly scrounge up the funds to hire the attorney who got Michael Jackson<\/strong><\/a> acquitted in his child molestation trial \u2014 Tom Mesereau<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n We\u2019re told the ladies have a couple potential projects in the works that could land them a big payday \u2014 including a book deal \u2014 and their plan is to put that money toward the Mesereau fund \u2026 along with Kelly\u2019s general defense fund.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Our sources say Joycelyn and Azriel have just hired reps who are reaching out to media outlets to score some paid interviews. None are scheduled yet \u2026 but we\u2019re told there\u2019s some interest.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The bad news \u2014 our sources say Kelly\u2019s GFs haven\u2019t had any luck acquiring big-time talent management for their more ambitious goal of launching Hollywood careers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Welcome to the club.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Unfortunately for Kelly and his gals, it seems he\u2019ll need a fortune<\/strong><\/a> just to land Mesereau, and that doesn\u2019t include the full cost of defense in his multiple sex crimes cases.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n As we told you, his New York federal case<\/strong><\/a> will require forensic experts, experts in sex trafficking, P.I.\u2019s and on and on. That alone will easily cost a million bucks to defend \u2026 and he\u2019s got cases in 3 other jurisdictions<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 Illinois State, Illinois Federal and Minnesota State<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Joycelyn and Azriel \u2014 along with Kelly\u2019s anonymous friends<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 have their work cut out for them.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
