The main idea or concept is basically not having to wait till Fridays to get paid but having access to your money as soon as your done working. Which in theory sounds great, but the average person that needs daily access to cash might not be in the best financial situation. What is Earnin?<br \/>\u2013 They give you access to your earning before pay day for no fee, but you can tip them for it. Up 14$ tip <\/p>\n<p>2. What does the app promise?<br \/>\u2013 Overdraft protection feature, that sends you money incase your account is about to be overdraft but they charge you $1.50 minimum fee, plus counts towards your daily limit. Quarter of there user have this feature enabled.<\/p>\n<p>3. How does it work?<br \/>\u2013  Works for salaried, On demand employees * uber* and even hourly employees <\/p>\n<p>4. Customer service test ?<br \/>\u2013 What does this mean for my tax withwoldings<br \/>\u2013 No phone number just emails and chats wtf <\/p>\n<p>5. How long does it take to receive the cash?<br \/>\u2013 same day or next day<br \/>\u2013 weekend on the second business day<br \/>\u2013 same day only if your bank supports it<\/p>\n<p>6. Limits of withdraws?<br \/>\u2013 Max amount to withdraw is $100-$500<br \/>\u2013 Daily limit is $100<br \/>\u2013 This can change based on your activity in the app or if you tip.<\/p>\n<p>7. Requirements<br \/>\u2013 Hourly, salaried or on demand job<br \/>\u2013 Get paid by direct deposit<br \/>\u2013 Provide access to checking to which you get paid your direct deposit, and connect it to receive cash out<br \/>\u2013 Upload a timesheet or location service so app can know you went to work ( basically keep tabs you)<\/p>\n<p>8. I could see this app working well for people with 2 week pay periods.<\/p>\n<p>Paying to get your earnings early is not a good long-term plan. It also scans your bank information and if a bill is due it will limit your withdrawal with them. <\/p>\n<p>Reviews: Blaine, said she used earnin for a year and then all of sudden they kept taking money from her without her asking or using the overdraft feature. She contacted customer serive they kept disconnecting her.
