Things got so heated that cops were eventually called \u2026 and the woman reported that Day had grabbed her, thrown her around, and wrapped his hands around her throat and squeezed.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-8eb2dca06258d1da4fe060d162617baa\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"39\">\n<p>When cops arrived, we\u2019re told 8 Xanax pills were found in Howie\u2019s pocket. The woman, whose relationship to Howie is unclear, reportedly sought medical attention and got a protective order against Howie as well.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-6235b372a20e2b2acea1b2467ed1d1fd\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"37\">\n<p>He was booked on charges ranging from assault with intent to cause physical injury, criminal obstruction of breathing and possession of a controlled substance. Howie was reportedly arraigned Saturday, where he\u2019s said not to have entered a plea.
