TMZ.com<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Willie Nelson<\/strong><\/a> worried his fans when he abruptly canceled his tour due to a \u201cbreathing problem,\u201d but the singer\u2019s only taking a temporary break and will return soon \u2026 TMZ has learned.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Willie\u2019s rep tells us his tour schedule is typically 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, but his recent medical issue \u2014 which they believe is linked to his history of emphysema \u2014 is requiring a little extra R&R this time.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n To my fans, \u2014 Willie Nelson (@WillieNelson) August 8, 2019<\/a> We\u2019re told he\u2019s only officially canceled the next 6 stops on his tour \u2026 but plans to return to the stage September 6 in Gilford, NH and continue on with the 20+ shows scheduled after that.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n As for the breathing problem \u2026 Nelson\u2019s rep says it was not a medical emergency and he wasn\u2019t rushed to the hospital or anything like that. He just needed rest and is back in Texas to see a doctor.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n We\u2019re told he\u2019s currently taking it easy and already feeling better.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Willie\u2019s 86, though, and this isn\u2019t the first time he\u2019s had to cancel some shows due to his health. He missed the Outlaw Music Festival<\/strong><\/a> last summer and had to cancel some dates earlier in 2018.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n Nelson also stopped a concert in Salt Lake City in August 2017 due to breathing issues.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n
