He told us he was in tears when he found out that his mental health counselor, <strong>Bryan Crusius<\/strong>, had to cancel a weekly appointment to deal with his own family tragedy after his son, 21-year-old Patrick Crusius, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2019\/08\/04\/250-mass-shooting-9-dead-dayton-el-paso\/\"><strong>gunned down<\/strong><\/a> 22 people inside a Walmart.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-791e8ccc10935e96d5a95cb165a322b2\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-image-block canvas-image-block-permalink \">\n<div class=\"image-block\">\n              <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid img-aspect-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/etrafficlane.com\/newline\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1565208490_208_El-Paso-Shooter039s-Father-is-Therapist-Who-Treated-Shooting-Victims-for-PTSD.jpg\"\/><span class=\"media-credit image-block__media-credit\">GoFundMe<\/span>\n                  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"cb-712bfd94067ef1283984e1d5b104bc95\" class=\"canvas-block canvas-block-permalink canvas-text-block canvas-text-block-permalink \" readability=\"39\">\n<p>Eric, a Texas guitarist and singer, was shot in 2012 at point blank range when a gunman showed up at his house.
