George R.R. Martin<\/strong><\/a> ain\u2019t in Westeros anymore \u2014 and with Winter officially having come and gone, it looks like the famed author hopped a dragon to SoCal \u2026 emphasis on LOOKS like.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d scribe was spotted at a beach in sunny Oceanside \u2014 at least that\u2019s what we first thought when we saw this photo. Turns out \u2014 this is George\u2019s freakin\u2019 doppelganger IN THE FLESH!!! Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

We reached out to George\u2019s rep to make sure it was in fact him, and we were told no dice!!! The rep says George was actually in a completely different state. The dude\u2019s got a crib in Santa Fe, NM \u2014 so he very likely might\u2019ve been there with his wife, Parris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

When we pressed the rep for George\u2019s location he rep told us \u2026 \u201cI know exactly where he is. Not California. Holed up writing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As for his impostor here, the guy was only slightly less dressed down than the real McCoy \u2014 rockin\u2019 a short-sleeve button-down shirt, matching pants and brighter version of GRRM\u2019s signature charcoal cap.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Something else to keep in mind \u2026 Comic-Con just wrapped the weekend before in nearby San Diego. So, maybe this guy\u2019s still cosplayin\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Doesn\u2019t appear the fake George was flocked by fans \u2014 especially those disgruntled ones who\u2019ve been bitching about a botched final \u2018GoT\u2019 season<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The good news for real George is if he ever does need someone to help him dodge angry mobs \u2026 he can find him on King\u2019s<\/del> Beach Landing!!!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
