TMZ\/Getty Composite<\/span>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Cardi B<\/strong><\/a> did not take the stage in Indianapolis Tuesday because of a security issue that threatened the rapper\u2019s safety as well as the venue she was supposed to perform at \u2026 TMZ has learned.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Cardi was supposed to perform at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indy, but less than an hour before the sold-out show was scheduled to begin, the concert was postponed \u2026 leaving tons of fans angry, upset and wondering what the hell was going on.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Cops put out a release saying, \u201cThis evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life. We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening\u2019s concert \u2013 there is no immediate threat to public safety, this not an active incident. Ongoing investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The venue says Cardi\u2019s show has been rescheduled for Sept. 11.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Cardi was inside the venue for soundcheck prior to the show, and posted a message to her fans after the announcement, issuing a heartfelt apology.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Cardi had another show postponed earlier this year in Baltimore \u2026 but that was because she couldn\u2019t perform<\/strong><\/a> due to health issues from her recent plastic surgeries.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
